Introduction

 

Please review the duvet, sham and skirt sections before selecting which package is best for you.  Remember the duvet, sham (all sizes) and pillows are reversible, and just as decorative on one side as the other side. We are a custom bedding company and specialize in reversible pieces to provide you with the most for your money.   The difference between the packages are duvet or bedspread style, sham size and style, and skirt style.  After you select the basic package you may wish to return to each section to decide on electives for each item.  We have tried to keep our prices reasonable for reversible bedding and accessories pieces but yet provide you with a beautiful basic set.  We elect not to average the cost for options you do not want into the basic cost, but let you choose what you want or don't want to add.  Remember .......reversible... select style and fabric choices for both sides.  The prices for upgrades are in the designated sections.

Duvet:  Select Style

Select a style for the front of duvet and select a style for the back.  Duvets require one side to have an opening to insert a filler/comforter if desired.  There are three types of openings, vertical, horizontal, or top

Style A  has a center fabric and side panel fabric.  (no border)  The center fabric and side panel fabric are the same fabric or you may choose a fabric for the center and a coordinating fabric for the side panel.   We always suggest using a small piping between the center and side panels if selecting this style.  You may also want to add a piping or a ruffle around the bottom edge. The bottom piping or ruffle provides a tailored finish.

Style B:   This style has a center fabric, a border fabric (on the 2 sides and across the bottom) and a side panel fabric.  You may select a different fabric for the center and side panel or the same fabric.  Choose a coordinating fabric for the border.  We often use minky or chenille for the border.  Bows at the foot are optional

Most select the bottom piping.  We have a regular ¾ piping or the Jumbo piping for the bottom edge.

Often clients choose to add trim around the border.  You may add trim around the border on the inside edge,  the outside edge or both the inside and outside edge.  Another option is piping around the border rather than trim.  These are your decisions.  With the border style the opening is at the top, you may have the front and back of duvet in the same style.  This is the most popular style.

The difference between this style and the duvet is no opening for a filler.  The side panel of the bedspread is also made long enough that a skirt is not required.  The side panel is actually the skirt, the side panel can be horizontal or vertical.  Normally if the fabric is ran vertically, it is gathered.

The  side panel  fabric  is not gathered, and some fabrics run vertical and others run horizontal.  No need for a skirt.  Side panel is floor length.

To complete your custom duvet or bedspread we will need your measurements.

For the duvet we will need the thickness of your mattress to determine the length of the side panel.  If you choose the bedspread style we will need the measurement from the top of the mattress to the floor or your preferred length if other than to the floor.  The top of a mattress is the same for all twins, fulls and queens.  But the mattress thickness changes with the style purchased such as regular, single pillow top, double pillow top,  and many other styles available.  This is why it is important to measure your mattress for your custom bedding so it is a prefect fit.  We will add the appropriate inches to the thickness of the mattress.

Please note if your measurements for the duvet is greater than the standard size the price will be adjusted accordingly.

King, there are two sizes for Kings, Reg. King  106 w x 96L  and a California King. 102 w x 92L greater than + 30

Skirts:  We will need the measurement from the top of the box springs to the floor or again your preferred length for the skirt. Most companies set the standard  at 14 inches, we set our normal length at 15 inches, see price chart for longer lengths.

Bedspreads:

If the side panels are greater than 26 inches long, this is from the top of the mattress to the floor or to your desired length there will be an additional charge.  Additional charge for the Reversible bedspread,. +40 code A fabrics, +55 Code B, and +75 Code C

Non Reversible Bedspreads if Code A fabrics +$20, Code B +$22.50, Code C $35.00

Shams:   Our shams are reversible, decorative both sides.

If selecting the package with Regular size shams a Twin size includes one sham,  Full and Queen includes two shams , and the King includes 2 King size shams.

Jr. Jumbo, our Jr. Jumbo sham

Jr. Jumbo, our Jr. Jumbo sham is 26L x 40W (the width of a twin mattress) and we make the pillow insert.    It will require only one for a twin, and  two for a King.   Jumbo Sham, our Jumbo Shams are 26L x 54 inches wide, the width of a full/queen mattress.  It requires only 1 for a full or a queen.  These are the most popular sham and we highly recommend this size. Skirts:

 

There are 3 basic styles for skirts.  Tailored pleated skirt,  A tailored pleated skirt flip back, or gathered skirt.  You may elect to add a band to the bottom of the skirt, or a ruffle, double ruffle, an overlay, or scallop top layer.  We will now address the styles and upgrades.  We have two styles available in our bedding packages the tailored pleated and gathered skirt.  You may add to these and below you will find the price for these changes.

Standard length of our skirts are 15 inches.  There will be an additional charge for skirts longer than 15 inches.
